There is a 12 hole Golf Course in Salies-de-Bearn or just 50-60 minutes drive away you have a choice of several courses on the Cote Basque, plus 2 courses near Pau including Pau Golf Club and Museum, Europe's first continental course.
The nearest beaches are on the Côte Basque at Biarritz or St Jean de Luz and Hendaye just an hour away. Biarritz has with its Art Deco houses and fine dining. The beaches are ideal for surfers who are to be seen all year around. St Jean de Luz, originally a finishing village, is ideal for children as the waves are gentle.
